UPDATE: If you’re wondering where I’m at here’s a quick little update. I’m loving life @wildmanresort working as the Operations Manager, guiding, and in the office. ☀️ Officially Summertime ☀️ ••• For those of you who don’t know I work at @wildmanresort in the summers. It is this super special place in the Northwoods of Wisconsin where we take people on whitewater rafting, zip lining, kayaking, and other adventure trips. This little gem is my happy place. ••• Stay tuned on my profile this summer for rustic living, camper remodels, sustainable living in unsustainable areas, weird meals, and beautiful scenery. ••• What are your summer plans??

REUSABLE COTTON ROUNDS ••• These are one of the EASIEST low waste swaps. I use these in place of cotton rounds for applying toner or removing makeup. They have been used over and over and have saved me money and waste! ••• To wash: - rinse after use - let dry - toss in the laundry in a garment bag - air dry If the stains stick and bother you, soak in soapy water and wash again. Otherwise, opt for darker colored rounds. ••• Have you made this swap?

TAKING TIME FOR YOU ••• Hi, remember me? Gosh, apologies for being MIA (again). School is wrapping up next week and my family’s company (@wildmanresort) has opened for the season so life is a little 🤪. But I just wanted to drop in to remind you to take a little time for you everyday. Whether it is yoga, making a tasty meal, journaling, going for a walk, reading, an extra long shower, or just something you enjoy doing. DO IT! Your health is more important than the craziness of all your tasks. When life goes bonkers, you need to focus on you too. ••• Challenge: take 10 extra minutes and do something YOU want to do today 🤩 ••• What will you be doing??

HOMEMADE GRANOLA ••• It’s SO easy to make your own tasty granola so you don’t have to buy any! I try to buy all ingredients in the bulk section if I can find them and then mix it all together. Here is what I do: • - break nuts and seeds down either in food processor or just beat up with a rolling pin - heat coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg in pot - add nuts and seeds - spread onto a pan and cook for 20-25 minutes on 275. Broil for 2 minutes. - let cool and devour!! • I’m not a huge fruit-in-my-granola kinda gal but if you are, feel free to add it before you cook too! ••• Sorry I have been MIA. Life has gotten crazy with school, @wildmanresort opening, and a little sickness. Duty calls! Will be back soon! ••• What’s your favorite granola addition?
