DRY BRUSHING ••• NEW POST: What is Dry Brushing & Why and How I Do It- Link in bio!! • It seems everyone has one of these brushes laying around their house but what are they for? I use mine a few times a week before I shower to dry brush parts of my body and then moisturize with coconut oil with tea tree after. It has transformed the look and feel of my skin. It will forever be a staple in my natural skin care routine. 🌱 ••• Check out my full routine for more details of how I do it and why! Link in bio! ••• Do you dry brush? 🤔
Eucalyptus ••• Who has done this before?! Take eucalyptus leaves and hang them in your shower for an uplifting aroma while showering! • I just tie a bunch with some twine and hang them in the shower for a few weeks! It smells divine and is a nice wake up call in the morning! ☀️ • Also, if you have lime build up on your shower head (like the one in the picture has😬), hang a bag of vinegar around the shower head overnight and it will all fall off by morning. Quick fix! ••• Who’s going to try this?
How to Make Homemade Oat Milk- link in bio! ••• Happy Meatless Munchy Monday! This recipe has been something I’ve been playing around with and I love the creaminess to it. Plus, it only costs about 25¢ for 3 cups of it - not too shabby! ••• Full recipe and more info on my website but here is the short version: - 1 cup oats (any kind) - 3 cups water - 1/2 tsp of salt - add honey, maple syrup or stevia for a little extra sweetness (optional) Blend, strain, drink up! No soaking necessary. ••• If you like your milk thinner do 4:1 water to oats and if you like it extra creamy do 2.5:1 water to oats! ••• Have you tried oat milk yet?? It’s a game changer! 😋 Try adding cacao chips or powder for some chocolate milk! 🍫
MEDITATION ••• For me, meditation isn’t sitting still with my legs crossed, breathing. For me, it’s my solo runs, lifts, yoga sessions- my workouts. I use working out as my time to be by myself, clear my head and reset for the day. Meditation doesn’t have to be linear for everyone. You can practice in any way that you find beneficial- driving, drawing, breathing, running. Whichever way you find clarity and balance. ••• Experiment with different forms of meditation. Sitting still and breathing is always something you can work up to but for me, I like to get up and get moving to clear my head. This morning I went on a glorious run in the woods and it did the trick! ••• How do you practice meditation?
